Document Review Project Manager Attorney | Contract Managed Review Attorney | Remote | Review Project Ownership and Client Coordination

This role is for attorneys who manage document review projects beyond first-level review, with responsibility for workflows, teams, and overall execution. You oversee review operations, guide quality control and second-level decisions, and serve as a point of coordination between review teams, counsel, and vendors.

We are building a pool of Contract Managed Review Attorneys/Document Review Project Manager Attorneys for anticipated document review needs in 2026. This is not an active opening; project timing, scope, and staffing structure will vary as matters develop, and assignments will be confirmed as specific needs are defined.

What You'll Do

  • Manage document review projects from initiation through completion, including scope definition, reviewer staffing, workflows, timelines, and defensibility requirements.
  • Establish and maintain documented review systems, including Relativity workspace setup, searches, batching, analytics, reporting, and a consistent method for ranking reviewers using performance metrics.
  • Lead second-level review and quality control processes for responsiveness, privilege, confidentiality, and issue coding, and escalate substantive coding questions to legal teams with clear, well-defined analysis.
  • Supervise and train document review attorneys, coordinate with client counsel, internal project managers, and vendors, and provide regular status reports and briefings on progress, risks, and deliverables.

What We're Looking For

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
  • 3+ years of experience managing document review projects and supervising review teams
  • Hands-on experience leading large-scale document reviews, including second-level review and quality control
  • Advanced experience with Relativity, including workspace setup, searches, batching, QC tools, and reporting
  • Experience using performance metrics and documented systems to monitor and rank reviewer performance
  • Experience serving as the primary point of contact between review teams, counsel, and eDiscovery vendors
